General Position Summary

This is a Social Service Staff position that delivers evidence-based treatment programming to clients of the Klamath Crimson Rose (KCR) program. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DHS Criminal History Background Check in order to be eligible for employment.

* Education, Certification, & Experience

* Must have either a master's degree from an accredited college or university with major study in social work or a closely allied field and one year of experience in the care and treatment of children or young adults; or have a bachelor's degree with major study in social work, psychology, sociology, or a closely related field and two years of experience in the care and rehabilitation of children and young adults.

* Oregon Driver's License

* First Aid Certification

* CPR Certification

* DHS Criminal History Background Check

* Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

* Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

* Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

* Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of JJS Human Resource systems; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Salary and Benefits

This is an hourly, non-exempt position, with a wage range of $ $18.24 - $23.10 per hour. The pay range listed here reflects the FULL pay range for this position for the current fiscal year. Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification.

Work Schedule

The normal work schedule is 8.00 hours per day 5 days per week; exact schedules are assigned by management. It is the attendance standard of the employer that all employees be present and on time each shift they are scheduled to work. Full or partial absence during any scheduled shift, arriving late, or leaving early, for whatever reason, may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. Time off may be approved if allowed by applicable policies covering illness, injury, or other personal emergency.
