Job Overview and Responsibilities Major Responsibilities

* Safety - responsible to know, understand, adhere to and champion all workplace, quality, ISO, HSE policies and procedures, including stop work authority. Attends mandatory monthly safety meetings. Reviews all safety concerns in the database and submits any safety concerns/incidents electronically for review, investigation and resolution of risk.

* Tends machine that performs one or more packaging functions, such as filling, marking, labeling, or wrapping of various size drums and mag-sacks.

* Ability to stop machine, trouble-shoots, and makes minor adjustments or repairs.

* Performs quality check/inspection to ensure outgoing finished goods meet all requirements prior to leaving the facility such as labels, containers. Understands coding for package type, size, resource, lot number, and procedure. Education and Experience * High School Diploma or GED AND 2-5 years of operational/process technology experience

OR

* 2 year Associates Degree in Process Technology or 4 year Bachelors Degree and 1 year plant experience

OR

* a combination of education and experience

* Ability to drive a Forklift and a Yard Mule

* Ability to operate a computer for training and day to day responsibilities.
