**Job Description**

A Delivery Assistant is responsible for assisting the Delivery Driver in the movement of product from the main warehouse to the delivery site while acting in a safe and professional manner.

This is a full-time position that offers excellent benefits and competitive pay (depending on experience)

*The hours for this position are 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM*

**We will train! Prior manufacturing experience is not necessary, but is a plus.**

**Job functions include:**

* Act as a representative of Suburban Door

* Be professional

* Be courteous while delivering

* Ensure quality of product

* Ensuring quality of product

* Ensure safety of self and driver

* Ensrue safety of fellow coworkers

* Assist Driver in delivery of products (loading and unloading)

* Assist with navigation to job sites

**Job Requirements:**

* MUST PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN

* Ability to speak, comprehend, read and write English

* Ability to be on feet 8+ hrs/day & lift, push and pull 50+lbs frequently

* Ability to read a tape measure

* Knowledge of Portland Metro and surrounding area

* Knowledge of building materials

* Knowledge of Suburban Door procedures

* Good communication skills.

* Knowledge of Suburban Door and OSHA rules and regulations.

* Must be able to be mobile in warehouse and on job sites.

* Must be able to move heavy awkward objects in warehouse and on job sites.

* Must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time
