**CONSTRUCTION LABORERS/GRADE CHECKERS**

Location: Willamette Valley, OR Hiring Manager: Jason W Chamberlain Company: Knife River - Western Oregon Division Department: Willamette Construction Closing Date: 06/10/2022 at 11:59pm CDT Job Type: Full-Time - Seasonal Entry Level: $23.00 - $31.00 /hour Job Summary: Good pay! We have an excellent opportunity for Construction Laborers/Grade Checkers in/around Salem, Oregon!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Dig, spread, and level material using hand tools

- Lift and carry tools and supplies

- Operate pickup machine and direct dumping of trucks

- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed

- Other duties assigned as needed Minimum Qualifications: - General knowledge of all types of construction. Knowledge of grade checking is a plus

- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods of time, in all weather conditions

- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen

- Ability to work flexible shifts which include: days, nights, weekends and overtime

- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers

- Ability to travel to different job sites
