This position will support our Trachte facility in Oregon, WI. As a part of nVent, Trachte is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. Today, nVent connects and protects our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings.

The primary purpose of this job is to perform all building related tasks including, but not limited to framing, insulating, installing roof systems, and doing trim work.

The Builder will be responsible for:

  • Using hand and power tools.
  • Reading blueprints.
  • Safely operating forklifts and scissor lifts.
  • Working within a crew to complete the assembly of buildings.
  • Effectively position all building parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled.
  • Prior forklift and scissor lift experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Understanding of construction and/or manufacturing concepts.
  • Prior sheet metal experience preferred.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, as needed.
  • Primarily indoor work.
  • Must be able to work 6am - 4:30pm.
