This position will support our Trachte facility in Oregon, WI. As a part of nVent, Trachte is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. Today, nVent connects and protects our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes. Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings.

In this position, you will get to:

Provide leadership for the operations and personnel of the production operations teams.

Lead and manage safe, efficient, productive, and economical manufacturing operations.

Increase the ratio of value to non-value and eliminate waste in the overall supply chain from start to finish, for a defined product family; and for ensuring the value stream meets or exceeds customer requirements.

Provide leadership and work direction for the process team to ensure that resources needed are adequate to meet key requirements related to safety, service levels, cost, and productivity.

Utilization of lean tools to provide continuous improvement of all key cost and service metrics

COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MANUFACTURING AREA AND SUPPORT GROUPS
Act as a change agent and drive out waste throughout the manufacturing operation using Lean methodologies.

Track daily performance; verify team leader counter measures and recovery plans are in place for missed targets. Ensure process center communication boards are being used on a daily basis.

YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in business-related field

5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or distribution environment

3+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A LEADERSHIP POSITION
Prior experience in a Lean environment preferred

ABILITIES TO MEET THE PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Work in a normal office environment plus on manufacturing plant floor

Long periods of sitting, standing, and repetitive motion tasks.

Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
