Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for maintaining access rosters and entry/exit of properly cleared individuals, equipment, materials, and security matters in the 173 FW Operations Group secure facilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Training and Experience:

Three years' experience in the implementation and management of security procedures, secure facilities and handling of classified material consistent with DoD security regulations.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Security Clearance: Possess a SECRET security clearance with a background investigation within the past five (5) years.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain certification to open, close, and secure controlled sensitive areas where performance of duties are.
  • Assist in planning, conducting, evaluating, analyzing, and reporting security program issues related to special access programs facilities and operations.
  • Generate & maintain databases which reflect receipt, storage, inventory & disposition of classified information, to include data entry, updates, & generation of reports
  • Assist in the inspection, inventory, logging, storage, & internal distribution of classified information received.
  • Assist in security reviews, security incident investigations & preliminary inquiries, & surveys, as required, and report findings/corrective actions to the appropriate supervisor as required.
  • Responsible for providing reports, inventory & activities to the GSSO as required.
  • Change combinations and generate SF 700s.
  • Escort personnel not cleared for unescorted access to secure areas.
  • The vault custodians will work with the GSSO and PSR to develop facility surveillance and entry control, safe procedures and create necessary file plans to effectively manage all resources under his/her control.
  • Participate in wing/unit self-inspections as necessary.
  • Upload/download flight data for brief/debriefs (If Required).
  • Manage and inventory materials needed for debrief systems (If Required).
  • Prepare/manage and make available mission debrief systems for daily use. (i.e., prep of Individual Combat Aircrew Display System (ICADS), JMPS, computers, Removable Memory Module (RMM), Digital Video Recorder (DVR) etc.).
  • Print weapons shots, Data Transfer Cartridge (DTC) downloads, assist weapons officer by managing flight materials configurations, as scheduled, to ensure students fly/debrief with proper configuration of Flight Materials (If Required).
  • Managing of systems includes, inventorying, updating, coordinating with other agencies, and training other users.
  • Download standard mission on to data cartridges for that day's mission.
  • Ensure equipment in briefing room is in working condition (If required)
  • Additional responsibilities as directed.
