SUMMARY
This position is responsible for forming and maintaining collaborative partnerships throughout the organization as essential to the Quality Assurance & Process Improvement (QAPI) and Transformational Quality Strategy (TQS) programs. This position also manages and acts as liaison to all teams through project management and identifies potential opportunities for sharing best practices and solutions across teams for process improvement and standardization to best practices by performing the following duties.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a healthcare setting, quality improvement, or practice management is required. Experience with the Patient-Centered Medical Home model and other general quality improvement methods preferred.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Job requires specialized computer skills. Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail, and use scheduling software. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
This position does not require any certificates, licenses, or registrations. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or the ability to work toward one of these certifications is preferred.
