This position will focus efforts at Rip & Cut. Rip Line Sorter will stack loads from rip line chutes, cut back chute, and send out loads when full. Cut Line Sorter works on the cut line stacking wood and banding loads as wood comes down the various slides. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for following JELD-WEN safety standards before starting any assigned task. Ensure compliance with all proper PPE. Ensure white boards are correct with correct lengths, widths, and stacking details. Stack and sort boards at each bay and cut back chute according to posted guidelines at each bay. Stack wood on a pallet as it comes down from the cut line. Band loads of wood with banding material or tie off with twine. Signal driver once load is full. Ensure area is clean and clear of wood or debris on the ground. Assist in other duties as requested by Managers.
