Job Title: Adult Residential Assistant Administrator

Department: Adult Residential

Shift: M-F; On call in rotation

Shift may vary in a 40 hour work week to meet the needs of the program

The National Health Service Core (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program is open to licensed primary care medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health providers who are employed by accredited sites.

Pay Range:

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education and experience as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Salary: $25.88 - $32.35 DOE

About the Role
Are you a driven leader with a passion for mental health services and residential care? As the Adult Residential Assistant Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and team performance across our adult residential, respite, and hold programs. You'll step in as a key decision-maker in the absence of the Program Administrator, ensuring seamless operations and impactful service delivery.
What Success Looks Like
  • Regulatory Excellence: You ensure 100% compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Team Leadership: You foster a high-performing, mission-driven team culture, modeling professionalism and accountability.
  • Client-Centered Coordination: You facilitate smooth transitions in care, collaborating effectively with internal and external providers.
  • Operational Oversight: You maintain accurate documentation, uphold facility standards, and report regularly to leadership.
  • Crisis-Ready: You demonstrate the ability to identify precipitating events and respond with clinical and ethical precision.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Adult Residential Specialists in the absence of the Program Administrator.
  • Ensure staffing meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain facility and resident records in compliance with OARs.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures for Phoenix Place.
  • Communicate agency mission and values in a solution-focused manner.
  • Build strong relationships with families, clients, and community partners.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field OR
    • A combination of 3+ years of relevant work, education, or training.
    • Must meet Oregon MHACBO QMHA certification requirements.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year in the mental health field.
    • Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
    • Strong understanding of residential care systems and community resources.
  • Certifications & Licenses:
    • Valid Oregon driver's license and insurable driving record.
    • CPR/First Aid certification (must be maintained).
    • MHACBO QMHA Certification (must be maintained).
