QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives and choose appropriate course of action;. Ability to prioritize workload and effectively manage time, helping co-workers, as needed; Support patient specific workload, or identifiedextreme patient supply utilization, as needed; Maintain a clean, neat and appropriate appearance for public contact; Ability to interact and collaborate with nursing and other providers in providing assistance in understanding stat or immediate needs of customers, supply needs; Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to meet desired outcomes in the provision of services; Ability to maintain currency with on-line computerized training modules; and Possession of valid Oregon driver's license; excellent driving record and ability to be insured by the hospital's auto insurance policy.
Preferred: Previous knowledge of medical supplies and warehousing operations.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
Medium to heavy physical demands. Lifting 5 to 50 pounds frequently from floor to waist height. Lifting 5 to 50 pounds occasionally from floor to head height. Pushing/pulling up to 200 pounds frequently. Must be able to reach frequently in range from floor to 72". Must have the mathematically ability to determine inventory needs. Must be able to continually grasp supplies from shelves / boxes / carts for up to 8 hours a day. Must be able to walk in excess of 5 miles a day in the normal supplies fulfillment process. Must be able to reach frequently in range from floor to 72". Must be able to stay focused on repetitive tasks. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
