QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Administrative medical office patient scheduling skills minimally 1 year. Must possess an ability to maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, includingcorrect grammar usage. Must participate and promote teamwork. Must have strong multi-tasking skills with the ability prioritize tasks in collaboration with others.
Preferred: Experience processing patient referrals and obtaining insurance authorizations. Medical terminology. Experience using electronic medical record system (Epic Information Systems Cadence/Referrals).
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with co-workers and clients, maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Must be highly skilled in ability to prioritize work demands, organize time efficiently and reach out for assistance as needed. Must deal effectively with the stress of deadlines, multitasking and frequent interruptions. Physical demands include the ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and occasionally 50 pounds to assist a customer. Must be able to walk/maneuver frequently in and around the building and be able to operate several different desktop devices, computer, scanner, phone etc.
