This is a regional, field-based role for a hands-on safety professional who thrives outside of a traditional office setting. You will travel approximately 75% of the time, visiting depots across your assigned region to lead and support safety efforts on the ground. In this role, you will partner directly with managers to implement safety practices, ensure compliance with DOT and workplace safety regulations, and develop practical, effective safety policies. You will conduct site visits, audits, and investigations while driving a proactive safety culture that protects employees and strengthens operations. This is a high-impact role for someone who can step in, take ownership, and deliver results immediately. This is a non-supervisory role.

The ideal candidate brings a disciplined, leadership-driven approach with strong experience in DOT compliance and workplace safety. You are confident leading managers, influencing operations, and translating policy into real-world execution. Safety certifications such as CSP or OHSP are highly preferred, or a bachelors degree in a related field. You are adaptable, comfortable with frequent travel, and ready to hit the ground running-someone who leads by example and is committed to building safe, efficient, and accountable teams.

This role is remote, but candidate must live in Eastern United States (east of Kentucky) and near a major airport. Ideally, candidate will live near the following cities:

Northeast: Boston, Cincinnati, Cleveland, DC/Baltimore, Detroit, Hartford, Indianapolis, Long Island, Newark, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Rochester.

Southeast: Atlanta, Birmingham, Central Florida, Columbia, Greensboro, Memphis, Miami, Nashville, New Orleans, Pensacola, Richmond, Valdosta.
