A company is looking for a GAAP Accounting Manager.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPMentor and supervise accounting team members while managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesLeverage modern finance tools and lead process improvement and automation of accounting workflowsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industryKnowledge of GAAP and financial reporting, with a focus on premium recognition and claimsFamiliarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience implementing or improving finance systems or processes is preferred
