The OpportunityAs a Life Underwriting Research Consultant, you'll join an innovative and dynamic environment supporting the Office of the Corporate Chief Underwriter (OCCU). In this role, you'll dive into a variety of exciting projects and research initiatives. Your work will be diverse and impactful, including supporting protective value (PV) studies; creating RFPs for different vendors and vendor evaluation; examining and identifying new data sources for research and insights; improving workflows and working on ways to increase automation; providing input on predictive modeling; and revising underwriting rules and procedures.The TeamYou'll join a collaborative and forward‑thinking team of underwriters from various backgrounds and product expertise, who are motivated to shape the underwriting landscape at MassMutual.
