Work schedule : 8:00 AM â 5:00 PM CST, Monday - Friday Overview The Commercialization Project Manager spearheads the execution of complex product commercialization initiatives todeliver the strategic growth and innovation goals of each Client business unit. Residing within the Operations organization, this role is accountable for the end-to-end commercialization lifecycle across the North America Zone, spanning initial concept, development, market launch, and post-launch review. This position requires an influential leader capable of driving alignment across R&D, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure every new product launch or product modification is seamlessly executed on time, in budget, and to required specifications. Job Specifications Essential Functions & Daily Responsibilities Project Leadership : Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of complex projects supporting the core innovation and renovation portfolio. Stage-Gate Governance : Drive the corporate stage-gate process, making critical decisions regarding project progress, deviations, and mitigation plans while influencing cross-functional behaviors to protect delivery timelines. Risk Management : Proactively identify, monitor, and communicate project risks to executive leadership teams while developing and deploying actionable mitigation strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Convene and lead diverse teams of experts across R&D, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and Quality to optimize execution models and maximize market speed. Process Optimization : Strengthen the operational, technical, and quality rigor within the commercialization framework, identifying process bottlenecks and implementing industry best practices. Performance Tracking : Track key project metrics, compile status reports, and execute workflow adjustments to safeguard overarching portfolio performance. Must Have Skills / Requirements CPG Frameworks : Direct, hands-on experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or food and beverage product development, project management, or commercialization. General project management experience outside of CPG will not be considered. Autonomy & Influence : Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing project success across multiple internal departments, external vendors, and business leaders. Collaboration & Negotiation : Exceptional relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate matrixed teams and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions with disparate stakeholders. Business Acumen : Strong fundamental business acumen, with an understanding of the unique economic, brand, and category strategy factors driving commercial success. Analytical Problem Solving : Competency leveraging data-driven analysis to design project solutions, manage tight timelines, and implement organizational change. Education & Experience Experience : 3+ years of professional experience managing commercialization projects or leading dedicated project teams. Core Competency Focus : Mastery of commercialization workflows is mandatory; a PMP certification is optional and not a requirement for selection.
