Rate of Pay: $20.57 per hour
Schedule: Follows the Board Approved Calendar
Insurance: Generous Health, dental, and vision contribution from the district.
PERS Retirement: The district assumes and pays the 6% average employee contribution to the Oregon PERS system.

Function:
To assist in reading interventions in the classroom related to high dose tutoring. To support literacy (reading and writing) instruction. To support behavioral initiatives classroom to ensure high dose small group tutoring can occur efficiently.

Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree or pass paraprofessional skills test prior to employment; or High school graduate/GED and pass paraprofessional skills test prior to employment. Computer skills including knowledge of Excel, SchoolMaster, Word and ability to learn new programs Fluent written and verbal skills in Spanish and English Proven organization skills
Language Skills: Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before staff
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fraction, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
