Accounting clerk/project management support for a busy, well established General Contractor.
Duties will include Accounts Payable functions, processing contracts, communicating with Subcontractors, Architects, and Owner Representatives. Attending on-site Job meetings, taking notes, processing correspondences between involved parties.
Preference given to people with the following experience; however, not mandatory:
3+ years experience in the accounting field
Experience with computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Project software
Experience with Prevailing Wage Rates and the Construction industry
Must be computer proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook. Must be detail oriented, very accurate, self-starter, ability to work independently or closely with others and can multitask. Having the right potential will count as much as years of experience since our system is very proprietary and exact experience is unlikely.
Full time position, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
Hourly position, DOE, plus benefits
